DAT-Consultancy has been established by a team of young and enthusiastic entrepreneurs, having an academic degree and a special affiliation with Turkey. With different backgrounds in e.g. economics, business administration, EU law, and social studies, we could employ the perfect mix of competences and experience for establishing a successful international service-providing company. In addition, we considered our wide knowledge of different languages as a unique asset for working in a multi-ethnic and internationally oriented service sector. The company currently has a mixed Turkish/Dutch Management.

Within our first year we had been providing mainly general consultancy work. We engaged in matchmaking sessions, conflict mediation, interpreting, and the organization of trade missions. However, after its first year DAT-Consultancy already had started shifting its emphasis to rather financial affairs. A request by one of our client for mediation into a payment conflict, and the eventual success we could bring in this matter, had led us to start investigating the potential for a debt collection company in Turkey. With our promotion we then targeted those companies possibly experiencing payment conflicts, after which we quickly were contacted by a vast amount of companies which requested our assistance in payment conflicts they were experiencing with Turkish clients. Within this process we gathered great know-how and expertise on pre-legal recovery and built up an extensive network and partners agencies in the largest Turkish cities.

This all then gradually evolved into a full-fledged collection service, including a contract with a Turkish law firm for legal assistance after the pre-legal collection trajectory. Our efforts did not stay unnoticed and in October 2009 we were invited to become the official Turkey-branch for Global Credit Solutions (GCS-Group), the leader international player in international debt collection. After a negotiation period, since the 1st of December 2009 DAT-Consultancy had become proud member of GCS-Group and thereby the official branch office in Turkey. We were proud to be part of a company with in total 3,000 employees worldwide, and collection agencies in 70 countries, thereby constituting the world's largest credit management company and debt collection specialist.

Our official partnership with GCS-Group had substantially enhanced our scope and ability to assist not only companies in recovering their receivables from debtors in Turkey, but moreover enabled us to offer collection services to Turkish businesses struggling with debtors abroad. DAT-Consultancy started offering collection services in both ways which has transformed us into a genuine international player. Weekly we are being contacted by Turkish companies from which we take claims and bring relief to their desperate situations with debtors in far away countries. We are in daily contact with our offices in e.g. China, Dubai, France, Iran, U.K., and Italy to discuss collection files and to help our Turkish clients to recover their outstanding invoices in these countries.

Next to our collection activities, we are still involved in the organization of trade missions and actively engage in match-making between international and Turkish companies. We can provide interpreters and knowledgeable people for trade events and business meetings in both the Netherlands as well as in Turkey. Also, we offer instant promotion and/or marketing initiatives for any business which wants to penetrate the turkish market. We have contracts with printing shops in both Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, which enables us e.g. to instantly and against very competitive prices, produce your promotion materials in your preferred language. Our technical team can provide you with a full-fledged website in Turkish, including a turkish domain name (.com.tr) within 7 working days. Finally, stemming from our collection activities, we have great legal know-how. Our legal team is at any time availlable for any kind of legal advice or assistance in mediation during e.g. investment projects or the concluding of trade agreements.
